CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

AERIAL MEDITATION: Lying cocooned in a hammock - you’ll be guided on a relaxation meditation designed to help you focus on your breath, relax and unwind

AERIAL YOGA: A fun and transformative new way to practice traditional yoga. Using a fabric aerial hammock suspended from the ceiling, you'll explore new and traditional yoga asanas (yogic postures) with your body weight partially or fully supported. Yoga mat needed. Get ready for a class that will energize and challenge you. NO JEWERLY, LOTION, OILS, MOISTURIZERS may be worn in this class. We will have boxes for you to place your jewelry in.

FLOW/VINYASA YOGA: Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow

RESTORATIVE YOGA: Class involves breath and movement, easier and modified postures with the use of yoga bolsters, straps and blankets of increased relaxation body

SLOW FLOW/VINYASA YOGA: Our slow flow classes focus on foundational yoga poses and anatomical alignment. This class is great for those dealing with injuries, beginners or for students looking for a slower paced flow class

YIN/DEEP STRETCH YOGA (Especially good for runners, cyclists, cross-fitters athletes and beginners): This class consists of postures on the floor that are held for an extended period of time. Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility and uses longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body Deep Stretch/Yin yoga is designed to literally open the body up, peeling away layers of stress, injury, and tension.

YOGA ROOTS: This class is ideal for students who are new to yoga or for the yoga student who needs to build a more solid foundation in their yoga practice. We will move at a manageable pace, with special attention paid to learning proper alignment in each pose so you can progress safely in your practice.S trength and flexibility are not required, and will be gained through regular attendance.This class is a great foundational start to developing a yoga practice. Questions during class are encouraged and welcomed.
